HealthTracks: A Child's Health History

When your child is sick, the last thing you want to worry about is wasting time finding his or her medical records or list of allergies. Parents Jennifer Cofield, Toni Wanebo, and countless others have found themselves in similar situations; when time is of the essence, having all the facts at your fingertips is priceless. To help in these difficult situations, Cofield and Wanebo introduce a medical journal that parents can keep for their children: HealthTracks: A Child's Health History (Andrews McMeel Publishing, $18.95).

Not only helpful during emergencies, HealthTracks eliminates the search through piles of paper to find immunization records when it's time to sign up for school, sports, or camp. Acting as a living record of your child's complete medical history, this effective, accessible, and comprehensive tool works as a portable file cabinet; the perfect tool for every busy parent. HealthTracks features concealed wire binding and twelve themed and tabbed dividers with pockets. The sections include everything from allergies; auditory, dental, and vision histories; family medical history; sports and travel related checkups; and more. A picture frame on the cover of the book allows parents to quickly identify which book belongs to which child.

Parents must take personal responsibility for their children's health. This can be achieved when the parent maintains thorough documentation of all aspects of a child's health history. HealthTracks is the most innovative tool on the market for responsible parents who want to make the most informed decisions about their children's needs.
